Overview
During Rational Game Design, I decided to create a top-down roguelike game similar to games such as Hades and The Binding Of Isaac. The project would include random room population of enemies, power-ups and pick-ups, shops to purchase different items and a variety of enemies with different stats and attacks.
Detailed Info
A detailed list of tasks for the project:

-
Create tables of stats for the player, power-ups and enemies can could be imported into Unreal Engine.
-
Room spawners that would detect if there is another room adjacent to it before generating the enemies and objects.
-
Custom movement mechanics with 4 directional fire.
-
Variety of enemies that will follow the player and do contact damage, ranged attacks or run from player while spawning other enemies.
-
Visual and Haptic feedback for taking damage such as controller vibration, flashing assets and sounds.
-
Basic AI.
-
HUD (Heads-Up Display) that shows player health, collected items and power-up names and descriptions.
